KITCHEN REMODEL

The owners wished to upgrade their home by creating a spacious and airy kitchen and dining area. This was accomplished by removing the walls of existing small rooms to open the kitchen to the main living area, creating one large main living and gathering space. To further enhance this sense of spaciousness, we removed a portion of the existing low ceiling to create a cathedral ceiling using the existing roof framing, with metal tension rods providing the necessary structural support while providing a visually interesting design element.
