GEORGE F. RUSSELL JR. HALL

Seattle, Washington

George F. Russell Jr. Hall occupies a prominent site in Seattle’s University District, enhancing a major pedestrian link between the University of Washington campus and University Way, the commercial core of the neighborhood. The project features 3 floors of office space and 15 apartment units. Designed to complement the “Campus Gothic” character of the UW campus, it was designed to include an attractive pedestrian environment, with enhanced paving, lighting, informal seating, and plated greenscreens along the adjacent sidewalks and alley.

Completed while with GGLO Architects.
